This large wire skimmer, with a wide mesh scoop head measures 17 inches long and is ideal for shallow or deep frying of shrimp, tempura, or french fries. Crafted from durable steel, with a nickel plate finish, the skimmer tolerates high temperatures while the long handle ensures that hands are safely away from the hot oil used for frying. The mesh head enables the excess oil to drain away so that food is not overly greasy. Typhoon recommends washing the skimmer by hand.
