For smart and tidy baking and cooking, Cuisipro's deluxe food mill makes a valuable player in any home chef's starting lineup. The extra-large round vessel fits securely on top of another bowl or pot with a plastic-coated roll bar on one side and a long, non-slip handle on the other. To operate, simply place the fruit or vegetable to be pureed inside, and turn the knob on top. As the food moves through the straining disk, unwanted parts like skins and seeds get left behind and a handy plastic scraper underneath sweeps the puree down. Three interchangeable disks in 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm sizes allow the chef to choose a finer or coarser consistency. Crafted of 18/10 stainless steel, the food mill disassembles for cleaning.
