Recommended change time: 50 hrs on new or break-in and every 500 hours there after Suction strainer. Mounts through-the-wall of the reservoir using a 1-1/2in. NPT weld flange (not included). Suction port is 3/4in. NPT. 4in. long strainer has 100 mesh (149 micron) stainless steel screen. Fits our 2.8 and 4.8 gallon hydraulic tanks. Not for use with pumps over 10 GPM.Suction strainer. The gels will eventually form hard deposits on the inner surfaces of the piping, hydraulic actuators, and other mechanical components of the system. These deposits can break off during system upsets and, since they are already down stream of the pump discharge filters, they can cause serious problems with the various components of the EHC system, including servo strainer pluggage; and unnecessary wear to the pumps, servo valves and actuators due to scoring caused by the hard deposits that collect.
