If you use a stake, be sure not to damage the pond liner. Netting will not retain moisture and handles temperature variations extremely well. This netting is heavier than others and designed to last several seasons. This is not cheap, throw-away leaf netting. Leaf nets are packaged by Goodwill Industries.
