ARBF HD series belt presses have been designed for dewatering sludges generated at medium to large sized municipal and industrial waste water treatment plants. Due to their long gravity dewatering section HDs are suitable to dewater high capacity sludge. Dewatering is performed in four separate stages. ARBF CM series belt presses have been specially designed for dewatering sludge after passing a thickening process.

Belt Filter Press is a bio-solids/sludge dewatering device that applies mechanical pressure to a chemically conditioned slurry which is sandwiched between two tensioned belt, by passing those belts through a serpentine of decreasing diameter rolls. The machine divided into three zones: Zone. Wedge-shapeddewatering zone. Pressingzone. Filter presses are fabricated from the highest quality carbon steel. The entire frame is sandblasted, primed and coated with epoxy paint. Inlet and outlet manifolds are constructed in either stainless steel or sch. 80 PVC. Filter Presses working in principal of pressure Filters, which is compressed between a fixed head on one end & one movable bulk head on the other end. Pack closing force is provided at free end. Filter pack is supported on two parallel tie bars.
